Jewel Gomes
Jewel Gomes is a Professional Chef with huge experiences of Culinary Arts. He is one of the very multi-talented chefs of Bangladesh. Around 30 years working experience with playing role as the Chef post at many hotels in many countries.
He was born in a Roman Catholic religious ( Christian) family in 1975 at Hashnabad, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He got the inspiration to build better career from his father Joseph Gomes (Late).
1995 he completed his academic education -Higher Secondary Certificates from Dohar - Nawabganj College, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Mr. Jewel was highly interested about culinary arts that's why he took the training
from Middle East Hotel & Catering Training Center Dhaka
and Hotel & Tourism Training, Institute of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation
Dhaka.
Gelato Italian Restaurant (Sharjah U.A.E) is the first restaurant where he started his career as a kitchen stewards then after few month he got the position Assistant Cook. In his whole career journey always he tried to learn new things and creating new ideas.
He always ensuring the HACCP control, food safety, menu planning, cost control, quality & quantity control. He is so much friendly with co-workers. In his kitchen every chef get him as a teacher and good leader. Chef Jewel believe that, a good teacher can make a good generation with his students so he want to take the responsibility to create new talented chef in Bangladesh.
