Spicy Pomfret with coconut milk – Pan fried pomfret serve with coconut sauce .
Ingredients
- 01 pcs Pomfret fish ( 200g.)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp ginger paste
- 1/2 tsp garlic paste
- 02 pcs green chili
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 02 tbsp. onion paste
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 01 tsp cumin powder
- 02 dry red chili
- 01 pcs bay leaf
- 2 tbsp. cooking oil for fry .
For marinate the fish
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp dry red chili powder
Method
- Wash and clean the fish very well . Trim on the surface of fish and drain the water by paper napkin .
- Place in a plate, marinate with salt, turmeric powder, dry red chili powder, lemon juice and set aside for 15 minutes .
- Make the pan medium high heat and put oil on top of pan then fry the pomfret one by one side with golden brown color .
- Heat the oil in a pan with medium high heat . Add the bay leaf, Dry red chili, Whole cumin and stir well
- After 01 min. add onion paste , garlic pest, ginger paste and stir continue .
- When onion will become nut brown color add green chili, cumin powder, turmeric powder , coriander powder, salt and keep continue to stir.
- After come-out Oil from gravy add Coconut Milk and adjust the salt test . Cook more 05min. then put on the top of the fried fish .
- Fried pomfret is better serve with steam/ boiled rice .
