Keora is so much popular in Khulna division of Bangladesh . Citrus tasted keora fruits can make more taste to any dish .
Ingredients
300 g. mutton
5-6 keora fruits
50 g. slice onion
01 tsp ginger paste
01 tbsp peanut paste
1/2 cup coconut milk
01 tsp garlic paste
01 tsp turmeric powder
1/3 tsp red chili powder
03-04 cardamom
4-5 black pepper corn
03-04 cloves
01 inch cinnamon stick
01 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp mixed hot spices powder
02-03 green chili
02-03 dry red chili
01 bay leaf
Pinch of cumin seeds
Salt as per test
Oil for cooking
Method
Marinate the mutton meat with salt, ginger paste, garlic paste, peanut paste, cumin powder ,coriander powder, turmeric powder, mixed hot spices powder, chili powder , oil then keep it rest for about 01 hour .
Make the pan medium high heat then, dry red chili, bay leaf, cumin seeds, cardamom , cinnamon stick, black pepper corn, cloves , and wait for tempered then add oil and marinated mutton, stir continue …
Add 01 cup hot water then cover with a lid and cook on medium heat until mutton meat will cooked . When mutton will cooked add coconut milk, keora fruits and green chili then reduce heat on simmering point and cover by lid for about 10 minuets . Remove the lid and enjoy its flavor, test with any rice dish or roti
