Thankuni Prawn / Prawn Curry with Centella Leaf Paste

From the ancient period people using centella leaf as a vegetable and medicinal herb . It can be the first choice of health conscious people .
Ingredients:
- 200 g. prawn ( without shell and head )
- 1/2 cup thankuni leaf
- 1/2 cup onion paste
- 01 tbsp. garlic paste
- 01 tsp ginger paste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- pinch cumin seed
- pinch black cumin seed
- 01 pcs bay leaf
- 02 pcs dry red chili
- 2-3 pcs green chili
- Salt as per taste
- Oil for cooking
For marinate the prawn
1/2 pst salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp dry red chili powder
Method:
- Marinate the prawn with turmeric powder, salt and dry red chili powder then keep it 15 minuet for rest.
- Blanch the thankuni leaf then make it paste by using food processors .
- Shallow fry the marinated prawn on medium high heat .
- Make the pan medium high heat then roast bay leaf, dry red chili, cumin seed, black cumin, put oil after 01 minuet . When oil will be heat then add onion paste ,garlic paste, ginger paste and stir well, after onion, become brown add , turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt, green chili and continue stir until oil will come out from gravy .
- Add fried prawn on the gravy and mixed well then put 1/2 cup of water . After few minuet add the Thankuni paste and keep it to simmering point for about 5-6 minuet then serve .
